Dr. Mark Soucek Receives Grant from RPM Beligum

Associate Professor Mark Soucek received a research grant in October 2004 from RPM Belgium/NV for his Project TIMA. This is an investigation of additives for Acrylic Floor Coatings. Dr. Soucek’s group brings chemical identification via multi-Dimension NMR, MS, and other analytical tools to characterize mixtures of oligomeric molecules. Then, the rheomechanical properties of the coatings will be evaluated as a function of the additives.
