Dr. Heinz Awarded the 2009 Giovanni Novelli Prize

Awarded the 2009 Giovanni Novelli Prize by the Italian Association for the Study of Clay Minerals. The award is given to a young scientist under the age of 35 who is distinguished by research on smectites and their application as a priority or on other clay materials. Heinz received a grant of 500 Euros, membership to AISA, and free registration to the 14th International Clay Conference to be held June 2009 in Castellaneta Marina, Italy.
