Alumni Reception at ANTEC

The alumni reception held during the Annual Technical Conference (ANTEC) of SPE on May 8, 2007, was another successful event for the department. A number of alumni reunited with friends, faculty, and colleagues to enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and beverages in the ambiance of the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati. Besides Ohio, alumni traveled in from a number of states, including Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. The farthest travelers were Dr. Guillermo Jimenez (Ph. 2007) from Costa Rica and Dr. Yeh Wang (Ph.D. 1988) from Taiwan. Next year's event will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday, May 6th, 2008. Details will be posted later in the Spring.
